Weet je nog? Will / shall geeft aan dat iets in de toekomst gaat gebeuren. Shall gebruik je in een vraag bij “I” en “we” wanneer je iets voorstelt. Kijk nog eens goed naar de volgende voorbeelden. It will rain. I will see you later. (I’ll see you later) Will he be late for school? She will take your orders. (She’ll take your orders) Shall I take your orders?

Als iets van tevoren is gepland gebruik je in plaats van will/shall een vorm van be + going to + het hele werkwoord Van tevoren gepland: Onderwerp + am/is/are + going to + het hele werkwoord I am going to sing a song at the pub tomorrow. She is going to do her homework this evening. They are going to talk with the headmaster next week.
