3 Je hebt deze opdracht naar behoren uitgevoerd als je door middel van een groepsdiscussie oplossingen kunt aandragen voor het probleem van een meeliftende medestudent (= a student who drops the ball) die niets of te weinig bijgedragen heeft aan een bepaalde groepsopdracht.

4 Situation For your literature class you were assigned a literary period that you had to present with three more students. One of you had to make a hand-out, one of you had to find a literary text to illustrate the period, one of you had to find visual material that illustrated the period historically or artistically. One had to present the main characteristics to the class. One group member has done practically nothing. Come together and debate what to do.

5 Assignment for 3 students teamwork no roleplay Tip: first do the grammar exercises on the next pages and memorize the six sentences given

6 Each of you has to complete the following sentences on his own. What I hate about the situation is….. One thing I like is… What I feel like doing…. What we need now ….. There’s nothing I would enjoy more than… I just don’t want….. Something that often surprises me is……….. What I want to do right now is……….. Exchange what you have written. Have the grammar checked by your teacher, if necessary.

7 Next memorize the following sentences 1.Whatever you do, don’t tell everyone. 2.Say whatever you want to. 3.Why ever don’t you phone him? 4.Whenever I mention it he takes offence. 5.She reacts badly every time I mention it. 6.Why on earth don’t you think of a solution? And use them when debating the problem!
