Taalblokken 1 TEST There will be 8 exercises. In the test you will be able to score 85 points. That’s excluded the 60 points from the SOs. So in total you can get 145 points. You have to get 95 points to pass the test. There is NO* resit for the test! *except if you score below 4, then you’ll have to do a resit at the end of term 3!

What to study for your test?! Sentences (40p.) Leer de zinnen uit hoofdstukken 1 en 2. Je moet er 20 vertalen in de toets. Let op dat je de juiste antwoorden in je boek hebt zodat je ze goed kunt leren! Studeer opdrachten: 2 (p. 9), 5 (p. 14), 3 (p. 21), 4 (p. 25), 1 (p. 32), 4 (p. 35), 2 (p. 45/46), 7 (p. 54/55), 1 (p. 62/63), 3 (p. 65) Grammar: past simple (8p.) Weet dat je de verleden tijd normaal gesproken maakt door +ed achter je werkwoord te zetten. Je moet ook wat onregelmatige werkwoorden kennen (dit komt de komende paar weken ook weer terug!)   Tip: bestudeer opdrachten 6 en 7 (p. 17) Informatie op p. 13 en p. 17 Kijk ook nog even naar opdracht 7 op p. 39.

Yes, ……………… (I will = the correct answer) Oftewel, geen een kort antwoord op een vraag. Check opdracht 7 (p. 29) Grammar: (un)countable nouns (6p.) Welke woorden zijn telbaar en welke niet? Zet ze in de juiste kolom! Kijk voor meer info op p. 36 (opdracht 5)!

What to study for your test?! Grammar: much & many (5p.) Je moet de juiste vorm in de zin zetten. Bijvoorbeeld:   How ……………… does this dress cost? Check opdracht 6 (p. 37) Numbers (5p.) In je boek, voornamelijk in hoofdstuk 2, worden prijzen genoemd. Het is nu belangrijk dat je deze kunt opschrijven in woorden. Dus als er staat: € 2,95 dan schrijf je op: ‘two euros ninety-five’ Ken je getallen dus, maar ook de valuta! Kijk hiervoor onder andere op p. 56. Reading (10p.) Aan het einde van de toets zit er een leesgedeelte. Hier horen een aantal multiple choice vragen bij.

Could / Will Use the word ‘could’ to make a suggestion. In Dutch you can say ‘zou kunnen’. - We could go to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. You can use the word ‘will’ to say something will happen in the future but also to make a promise. In Dutch you would say ‘zal’. - I will book the plane ticket to Abu Dhabi tonight.
