How to study? Study goal: understanding a spoken text without help and being able to use the words actively How to achieve that? The classes Classes are mainly devoted to conversation Not much grammar explanation Only Dutch, from day 1 Conversations on topics in the text You don’t learn only from speaking yourself, but also from listening to other students Knowledge of the text is essential Do participate in the conversation, don’t wait for your turn!

The daily tests Listening test about each text Twice a day, following each conversation lesson Listening to and writing sentences from the text (dictation) No books, phones, paper etc. allowed! Minimum result of 80% for each test required Less then 80% = stop  study  try again next class login (username: TBM-LANG123, password Welkom01) type the words you heard – feedback: “x words are correct” after ca. 10 sentences: total result in % result 80% or more: next test.
