2 2 Timoteus 3:14-17 2 Timothy 3:14-17 14 Maar jij, blijf bij alles wat je geleerd hebt en met overtuiging hebt aangenomen. Je weet wie je leraren waren 15 en bent van kindsbeen af vertrouwd met de heilige geschriften die je wijsheid kunnen geven, zodat je wordt gered door het geloof in Christus Jezus. 14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it 15 and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

Als je iemand er van wilt overtuigen dat de Bijbel het Woord van God is, wat zou je dan willen dat persoon gaat lezen? (Meer dan welk ander boek dan ook) Kun je zeggen dat als je de Bijbel leest jouw Schepper tot je spreekt op zo’n manier als in geen enkel ander boek? If you want to persuade someone that the Bible is God’s Word, what do you want that person to read? (More than any other piece of literature?) Can you say that when you read the Bible your Creator is speaking to you in a way that is true of no other book?

Denk je dat vertrouwen en gehoorzamen wat in de Schrift wordt beschreven je ooit in zonde zal leiden, of je weg zal leiden van Gods zegen in je leven? Dus…? Do you think that trusting and obeying everything that Scripture affirms will ever lead you into sin or away from God’s blessing in your live? Dus…?
