Je hebt deze opdracht naar behoren uitgevoerd als je vlot kunt uitleggen hoe je een bepaald recept klaarmaakt. Je woordenschat is toereikend om misbaksels te voorkomen. Je maakt gebruik van complexe zinsvormen. Er is sprake van een natuurlijke uitspraak en intonatie. Er zijn weinig opvallende lange pauzes. De tekst is coherent (d.w.z. er zit duidelijke samenhang in).
Situation You are staying abroad for a couple of months. One of your friends would like to organize a Dutch evening and cook a Dutch meal for you. He/she obviously needs your help. You decide to give a lengthy explanation about what Dutch cuisine boils down to… but your friend insists. So, you finish off by giving a detailed instruction of how to make….?

Instructions 1)Now work out how you would describe traditional Dutch food. 2)Internet may prove a great help here, so use some time to explore sites describing Dutch cuisine in more detail. Use Google. 3)Next choose a recipe that is typically Dutch according to you. Use a good dictionary to translate the ingredients. Make sure to use the conversion table for the right measurements. 4)Practise your ‘presentation’ first (in front of a mirror!). If necessary, record your words on cassette and listen back critically.
