4 Situation Your cell phone is for sale. You receive a phone call from a potential buyer, who happens to be English…This prospective buyer wants to know all the technical ins and outs. You are keen on selling your mobile so you give as much info as you possibly can.

6 1)Think up a list of 20 Dutch words/expressions that are associated with using cell phones. Next translate these words into English. 2)Look up the translation of those words you do not know yet. Obviously, you can do this in a conventional dictionary or on internet: http://dictionaries.travlang.com/DutchEnglish http://dictionaries.travlang.com/DutchEnglish 3)It may also be inspiring to use the following site: Http://dictionary.cambridge.org. 8 Assignment - instructions 1.-- One of you has to be the potential buyer and one of you does the sales talk. 2.- When you carry out this assignment for an exam mark, you are NOT ALLOWED to read from a piece of paper! So memorize difficult words and phrases. 3.- Obviously, it may be a good idea, however, to jot down a few selling points when preparing this conversation…. 4.- Change roles so that either of you can do the sales talk.
