Wanneer de Present Perfect?
Je gebruikt de present perfect om aan te geven dat in het verleden iets is begonnen en nu nog steeds bezig is. I have lived in England for a long time. In het verleden ben je er gaan wonen. Je woont er nu nog steeds. HAVE LIVED I lived in England in 1950. Je woont er nu niet meer. PAST SIMPLE: lived I have lived in England for a while now. Je woont er nu nog steeds. PRESENT PERFECT: have lived

Present perfect Je gebruikt de present perfect ook als de nadruk op een resultaat ligt. Er staat dan niet in de zin wanneer iets gebeurde. Oh no. I have broken my foot. Someone has stolen my bicycle!! Look mum, I’ve cleaned up my room. Staat er wel bij wanneer het is gebeurd? Dan gebruik je de PRESENT SIMPLE (stam+ED / 2e rijtje onr. ww) I broke my foot yesterday. Look mum, I cleaned up my room yesterday . Hier dus zonder “has/have”

Stam + ED (of 2e rij onr. ww) Verleden tijd: afgelopen.
Past Simple Stam + ED (of 2e rij onr. ww) Verleden tijd: afgelopen. Napoleon died in 1821. I cleaned up my room yesterday. Present Perfect Has/have + stam + ED (of 3e rij onr. ww) Verleden begonnen, nu nog bezig. of Resultaat is belangrijker dan tijd (tijdstip is niet gegeven) I have lived here since 1995. Look mum, I have cleaned up my room. Signaalwoorden: Duidelijke verleden tijd (afgelopen) Yesterday, last week, last month, a few weeks ago, in 1990. I saw you last week. I noticed that a few weeks ago. Already, always, for, how long, just, never, since Since = vanaf.. Je woont er nu nog: have lived I have lived in England since 1995. How long have you known him? (je leerde hem kennen in het verleden en je kent hem nu nog steeds!)
