Inclusief onderwijs voor leerlingen met speciale onderwijsnoden Ouders met een kind met zorgnoden stappen naar  Pedagogisch Medisch Centrum (PMC) onderzoek advies: verwijzing naar ‘speciaal programma’ (9 types) en toekenning van omkadering  (1) Ouders doen niets  School heeft er geen weet van. (2) Ouders beslissen om hun kind in een gewone school in te schrijven …  De school moet een programma organiseren zoals het advies van het PMC aangeeft.  De school wordt een inclusieve school.  Het kind krijgt naargelang het advies een persoonlijke assistent toegewezen voor een bepaald aantal uren per week.  De school krijgt naargelang het advies extra lestijden toegewezen en kan er paramedici mee aanstellen.  Minstens een van de leerkrachten moet een cursus ‘special program’ volgen. (3) Ouders beslissen om hun kind in te schrijven in een school waar het speciaal programma georganiseerd wordt, een ‘Speciale Program School’.

De ervaringen van deze Study Visit werden ook bekendgemaakt aan onze bredere bekend gemaakt tijdens vormingssessies van de inspectie in februari 2012 over internationalisering.
