Preswitching BASIC Op basis van kenmerkende eigenschappen van de klant (naam, adres …), lanceert de leverancier een Preswitching BASIC aanvraag om de EAN van de klant terug te vinden in het Toegangsregister. Contractacceptatie Op basis van de BASIC informatie kan de leverancier contractonderhandelingen opstarten met de klant. Preswitching LIGHT Indien de klant akkoord gaat met het contractvoorstel, lanceert de leverancier veprlicht een Preswitching LIGHT aanvraag om noodzakelijke informatie te bekomen om een correcte contractaanvraag te lanceren in de markt. Volgend op een Preswitching LIGHT heeft de leverancier de mogelijkheid om de index die hij van de klant ontvangen heeft, te verifiëren door middel van de Index Plausibility Check. Contractaanvraag Op basis van de verkregen LIGHT informatie, is de leverancier in staat om een correcte contractaanvraag te lanceren in de markt. Contractregistratie Het Central Market System verwerkt de contractaanvraag van de leverancier en registreert het contract in het Toegangsregister. Preswitching FULL De leverancier wil uitgebreide informatie (historische gegevens, geregistreerde modules …) van een punt dat hij op dat moment zelf in portefeuille heeft of van een punt dat hij voor een bepaalde periode in portefeuille had.
