Website: (open and closed part) Videoconferencing software (I Chat en camera I sight) Connection to the internet (ADSL) Connection to the infrastructure of Heideheuvel (Lotus Notes) Bleek al gauw dat ivm onderhoud & installatietijd we moesten uitwijken naar nieuwe pc’s, waarvan we er wel een aantal hadden, maar die waren aanvankelijk bedoeld als aanvulling op verouderde apparatuur of voor mensen die niets hadden, kom hier later nog even op terug Website: openbaar en besloten gedeelte Videoconferencing: I Chat en camera I sight Aansluiting via ADSL, soms via router om Telekit niet te laten interfereren met eigen pc gebruik Aansluiting op infrastructuur van Heideheuvel: cms, fire-wall etc. KITTZ KwaliteitsInstituut voor Toegepaste ThuisZorgvernieuwing

Installation and maintenance a problem The Telekit as a medical device? Compatibility, what standards to chose? Website: standard solutions not welcome Installation of ADSL: takes time For some people a pc is still a strange thing Small technical problems, big impacts Nieuwe pc’s dus kosten maar Telekit eigenlijk medisch hulpmiddel Keuzes van cms e.d. kost tijd maar oplosbaar Realisatie van site lastiger, moeilijk over te brengen wat je wilt en vaak heeft de leverancier toch standaardoplossingen zeker binnen een beperkt budget. Wachttijden: je kan hier bijna niet vooruit werken, bovendien nog problemen bij provider KITTZ KwaliteitsInstituut voor Toegepaste ThuisZorgvernieuwing

To combine content, technics and organisation: complex To ‘translate paper’ into the screen of a PC: difficult Internal support for innovation: hard to reach Better to start with the Telekit earlier The Telekit should be part of the program, not on top of it Inhoud en techniek bij elkaar brengen, verschillende competenties en redelijk complex Wordt al gauw digitaal papier, bovendien nieuwe discussie over formats Conflicterende eisen: gebruiksgemak, technische uitvoerbaarheid, formats en leesbaarheid Concept in hoofden van weinigen, uitvoering door velen, bovendien traject zo lang, dat we de zaak opnieuw moesten oppeppen en je moet eigenlijk deel van de organisatie opnieuw inrichten KITTZ KwaliteitsInstituut voor Toegepaste ThuisZorgvernieuwing

Integration of the Telekit in the Heideheuvel program Try out with children with obesitas Study of the ‘clinical’ effectiveness National cooperation of COPD centres on content and facilities A ‘regional’ pilot Verbreding en verdieping: meer patiënten, meer inhoud Reguliere behandeling: overleg met verzekeraars en die zaten al in klankbordgroep van project Obesitas: ook verslavingsgedrag en leefwereld van kinderen sluit natuurlijk aan bij Telekit, een keer minder naar kliniek en contact via Telekit Klinisch effect: zijn Telekitpatiënten echt beter straks, lange termijn, vergelijkingsgroepen KITTZ KwaliteitsInstituut voor Toegepaste ThuisZorgvernieuwing

25 Telecare: what is needed to start?
A clear concept A specific customer Insight in the feasibility: technics, content, organisation Some indication of costs and savings Build a prototype and start a pilot A long breath! Concept: dus niet uitgaan van leuk apparaat Gebruiker: vaak te globaal, de oudere en wat zou die gebruiker kunnen bewegen Inzicht: vooral organisatorisch vermogen, technische hobbels (en die zijn er) Kosten en opbrengsten: hoeft nog niet meteen te worden doorgerekend Prototype en pilot: niet alleen ervaring, maar je hebt wat te laten zien aan geïnteresseerde partijen Lange adem: niet alleen in geld KITTZ KwaliteitsInstituut voor Toegepaste ThuisZorgvernieuwing
