ACTIVE: The boy is kicking the ball Haal het originele lijdend voorwerp naar het begin van de zin The ball... Voeg een vorm van BE toe, in de tijd waarin het originele werkwoord stond ...is being... (present continuous, want origineel is kicking is present continuous) Voeg het originele hoofdwerkwoord in in de vorm voltooid deelwoord ...kicked... Voeg eventueel het originele onderwerp toe in een by-phrase ...by the boy PASSIVE: The ball is being kicked by the boy
