2 Biografie Flaminio Bertoni (1903 – 1964) 1903 – geboren in Masagno, Como Italië 1918 – onderbreekt studie technische school en gaat werken bij Macchi (locale autofabr.) 1924 – hoofd tekenaar bij Macchi 1929 – begint eigen ontwerpstudio 1931 – gaat wonen in Parijs 1932 – gaat werken bij Citroën 1934 – introductie Citroën Traction Avant 1935 – start ontwerp Citroën TPV 1948 – introductie Citroën 2CV

3 1955 – DS 19, Déesse, de godin wordt op de autosalon van Parijs ge ïntroduceerd, verkoop 1e dag 12,000 auto’s 1957 – tentoonstelling van de DS op de Triennale Milaan 1961 – Laatste ontwerp: de Citroën Ami 6 1963 – Flaminio Bertoni overleden in Parijs
