Accessible: Mogelijkheden voor hergebruik van data is duidelijk voor mens en machine Interoperable: Computers kunnen de data vertalen zodat deze makkelijk is te combineren met andere data Reuseable: Data en metadata zijn zo geformuleerd dat ze reproduceerbaar zijn en gebruikt kunnen worden in toekomstig onderzoek Findable: easy to find by both humans and computers. Machine readable metadata is essential for automatic discovery of relevant datasets and services, and for this reason are essential to the FAIRification process.
