10 How to study? Study goal: understanding a spoken text without help and being able to use the words actively How to achieve that? Learn the texts (2 or 3 per day) step by step first with all help, and gradually less help 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 times … 1 text takes hours 2. without pauses Stap 1 Klik nog een keer luister Luister: hoe wordt het gezegd, de uitspraak is immers belangrijk! Kijk: kleine woorden die je niet goed hoort, maar die er wel zijn Hoe zit de zin in elkaar Ongeveer 16 regels, ½ uur Stap 2 Is zonder pauzes: begrijp je nog steeds wat er gezegd wordt? Leer door te lezen, te luisteren en te begrijpen. Hoe heb je je eigen moedertaal geleerd? Door te luisteren! Veel input is nodig om een taal te leren.

Geen reden voor angst. Nu ben je klaar om naar de les te gaan, maar bedenk: de voorbereiding van een tekst kost je 2 tot 3 uur!

Not much grammar explanation Only Dutch, from day 1 Conversations on topics in the text You don’t learn only from speaking yourself, but also from listening to other students Knowledge of the text is essential Do participate in the conversation, don’t wait for your turn!

Twice a day, following each conversation lesson Listening to and writing sentences from the text (dictation) No books, phones, paper etc. allowed! Minimum result of 80% for each test required Less then 80% = stop  study  try again next class login (username: TBM-LANG123, password Welkom01) type the words you heard – feedback: “x words are correct” after ca. 10 sentences: total result in % result 80% or more: next test. Result less then 80%: stop ½ uur de tijd, 80% score. De computer houdt bij welke teksten je gehaald hebt. Je kunt niet verder tot je voor een tekst bent geslaagd.
