2  Situation: professional ethics lies at the basis of the foundation of Rotary in 1905 o Is professional ethics sufficiently addressed in our clubs ?  Approach: working group from the commission Vocational Services and Ethics of district 1620  With support of the Inter-district Commission Ethics of the three Belgian (and Luxembourg) districts D1620 - D1630 - D2170 and the three governors  Survey was sent to all Belgian Rotarians (spring 2015) Rotary & Ethics

6 Ethiek is één van de basispijlers van Rotary. L’éthique est un des piliers du Rotary.

7 Integer handelen houdt in dat men over mij denkt: "in hem/haar heb ik vertrouwen". Agir de manière intègre implique que l’on pense de moi « j’ai confiance en lui/elle ».

8 Bij mijn aanvaarding als Rotary-lid was ik mij ervan bewust dat ik mijn beroep op een integere wijze moet uitoefenen Lors de mon intronisation en tant que membre du Rotary, j’étais conscient que je devais exercer ma profession de manière éthique.

12 Als je zaken doet met een andere Rotariër, ben je zeker dat dit correct en eerlijk zal verlopen, want een Rotariër kan je vertrouwen. Lorsque tu fais des affaires avec un autre Rotarien, tu es certain que tout se déroulera de manière correcte et honnête, car tu peux faire confiance à un Rotarien.

13 Binnen mijn club hanteren de meeste leden hoge ethische normen. La plupart des membres de mon club agissent selon des normes éthiques élevées. 1%

20 Bij de aanwerving van een nieuw lid in onze Rotary Club onderzoeken we heel ernstig de integriteit van het kandidaat-lid. Lors du recrutement d’un nouveau membre dans notre Rotary Club, nous analysons scrupuleusement l’intégrité du candidat membre.

21 Ik vind ‘ethiek’ en 'integriteit' abstracte thema's, waar ik me niet veel kan bij voorstellen. Je considère que l’éthique et l’intégrité sont des thèmes abstraits, qui ne me parlent pas.

22 Iemand die onethisch handelt, hoort niet thuis in Rotary. Une personne qui agît de manière immorale n’a pas sa place au sein du Rotary.

23 Ik ben op de hoogte van het aanbod i.v.m. ethiek binnen ons district. Je connais les outils concernant l’éthique mis à disposition par notre district.
