BSc / MSc Programma’s Stand van zaken Onderwijsprogramma’s zijn in ontwikkeling Globale opzet: BSc: drie jaar (laatste jaar specialisatie) MSc: twee jaar (specialisatie, major) Huidige programma’s zijn opgestart in 2000/2001 (tweede jaar loopt nu) De vakken zijn ontwikkeld t/m het tweede jaar Het vakkenaanbod voor het derde (BSc) jaar staat vast, maar veel vakken moeten nog ingevuld ontwikkeld worden De MSc programma’s (4e en 5e jaar) zijn op hoofdlijnen ingevuld Momenteel lopen ook oude programma’s (studenten gestart voor 2000)

Global Change in BSc programma’s Opleiding Milieukunde/ Bodem, Water, Atmosfeer BSc eerste jaar: Inleiding Atmosfeer (stralingsbalans, broeikaseffect) Mens en Milieu BSc tweede jaar: Air Quality (stralingsbalans, broeikaseffect, modellen en scenario’s) Environmental Systems Analysis (IA modellen) BSc derde jaar: bachelor afsluiting ?? Overige Inleiding betawetenschappen Plant, Dier, Mens, Milieu Milieubeleidsindicatoren etc.

Global Change: BSc/MSc vak uit oude curriculum Vak: Broeikaseffect en klimaatveranderingen (H250-208) capita selecte: niet verplicht; vrije keuze voor studenten eenmaal per twee jaar gegeven goed gewaardeerd en goed bezocht vak (> 50 studenten) Inhoud: oorzaken, effecten en oplossingen van klimaatverandering Serie lezingen door gastsprekers, werkstuk Vak wordt dit jaar voor het laatst gegeven; het is niet opgenomen in de nieuwe onderwijsprogramma’s

Conclusies BSc/MSc: Geen specifieke vakken over “global change” SENSE PhD: 1 specifiek vak over “global change” “Global change” komt in veel vakken aan de orde, maar meestal zijdelings of in een casus Er is geen MSc specialisatie/major op het gebied van “global change”, maar het kan een belangrijk element worden van verschillende specialisaties in de MSc Milieukunde
