Stuurt alle 15 min. deze lijst naar Backup Browsers Bepaalt welke PC’s Backup Browser worden (1 voor elke 32 PC’s, max 3) Geeft lijst van Backup Browsers door aan clients Voegt Clients toe aan de lijst Verwijdert Clients uit de lijst. Local Master Browser stuurt zijn lijst naar de Domain Master Browser Domain Master Browser stuurt zijn lijst naar alle Local Master Browsers

27 20 nov 2002 - Johan Coenen BROWSINGALGEMEEN Normaal Verloop: PC Boot: stuurt gedurende 5 minuten elke minuut een announcement naar de master browser, daarna om de 12 minuten Indien een PC gedurende 3 opeenvolgende 12 min. periodes zichzelf niet gemeld heeft wordt hij uit de lijst geschrapt. Backup browser vraagt alle 15 minuten de lijst aan de master browser. Indien de BU Browser gedurende 3 opeenvolgende 15 min. periodes de Master Browser niet gecontacteerd heeft, wordt hij verwijderd uit de lijst, en duidt de master browser een andere BU browser aan. Indien een PC de Master Browser kontakteert, en deze antwoordt niet, dan wordt er een election-procedure gestart.
