2 Introductie Is “methode en plananalyse” uberhaupt vruchtbaar voor het ontwerp proces?..& WAAROM?

3 Introductie Omdat: door te analyseren kunnen we zowel ‘declaratieve’ als ‘procedurale’ en ook nog ‘tacit’ (onbewuste / impliciete/stilzwijgende kennis) kennis opbouwen; en in het ontwerp process, kunnen we deze ‘kennis soorten’ analogisch gebruiken.

4 Introductie Kennis/knowledge: Processed information Cognitieve structuur van architectuurwetenschap Om de cognitieve structuur van de architectuurwetenschap onder de knie te krijgen, moeten we basiskennis van de cognitieve wetenschap beschikken. The word cognitive refers to perceiving and knowing. Cognition : knowing, perceiving, or conceivng as an act or faculty distinct from emotion and volition.

5 Introductie Declarative knowledge: fact-like nature of representations; data structures: A -language-like representations; PROPOSITIONS B -perception-like representations; IMAGES Procedural knowledge: knowing how. Tacit knowledge “...Cognitive penetration is difficult to assess (vaststellen) because subjects may not be aware of the knowledge that they are bringing to bear on a task. They may strive to perform an imagery task in a way that is natural and feels like seeing without being able to articulate how they did it. In such cases subjects are said to be using tacit knowledge.”
