Kalender On the other hand, there will always be enough degrees of freedom available to the radiologist to significantly influence patient dose (in the positive or in the negative sense). The exposure to the patient should be adjusted to obtain the required diagnostic information and not to get the best image quality possible. Training tools to learn about the influence of scan parameters help to iteratively seek for the preferred image quality.
