3 Guidelines Students The better you know the language, the more you will enjoy your stay! School.(obliged) 5 D’s Ambassador. Contacts Accept the discipline of the host school host Rotaryclub and the host parents. Your parents always have to know where you are and when you will arrive at home Please answer the mails of your YEO and chairmen !!

4 You want a great year ?? Talk about your interests with your hostfamily and the YEO Join a sportclub / youth movement academy of arts / …. Make contacts not only with other inbounds but also with students at school or sportclub,…

5 Guidelines Parents Acts as real parents for the students
Communicate with the school Documents (control) Travel tickets Insurance Emergency fund Documents for the Belgian identity card. Ziekenfonds – Familiale verzekering Open a bankaccount. Moving to an other family Travel rules Controle over computer gebruik !!! Controle over telefoon gebruik Controle over alcohol gebruik Controle over wekelijkse uitstappen naar Luik, Brussel,…

6 SCHOOL Elke dag school is verplicht !!
Gezin moet school verwittigen indien inbound niet aanwezig kan zijn / combinatie dagschool en taallessen is soms verwarrend. Inbound mag, maar 10 halve dagen school missen. Inbound moet 2 tot 4 examen afleggen bespreek dit met directie Taallessen volgen is aan te bevelen ( avond – dag )

7 Guidelines Club/YEO Regular contact YEO and student
Students will receive monthly allowance Club meetings and trips. Maiden speech. Exchange of fanions. Regular contact with the COUNSELLOR is very important Emergency fund: +/- 400 € Change of hostfamily

8 Guidelines Club/YEO In samenspraak met gastouders
Controle over visa, ziekenfonds,familiale verzekering,…. Inschrijving in school begeleiden Hulp bij de integratie, oa vervoer, bank, sport,… Aanwezigheid op school controleren Leden van club aanmoedigen om inbound te betrekken bij familiale activiteiten Controle over YEP regels ( 5 D + uitstappen naar Luik, Brussel …beperken)

11 KAART VAN GOED GEDRAG Voornaamste regels van YEP
Tijdens trips en uitstappen van Rotex en Bresa moet de inbound deze kaart altijd bij zich hebben. Bresa heeft ook een afzonderlijke gedragskaart voor tijdens de reizen.

12 Travel Rules & Request Inside Belgium and Luxemburg, the student must obtain permission from the host family. Outside these countries, no travelling is allowed if the folliwing conditions are not fulfilled: Written approval must be obtained from: Natural parents Host family YEO hostclub Chairman The copy of the student’s itinerry must be lodged with counsellor. This itinerary must include the name, address and phone number of the reponsible Rotarian or student’s relative a each stopover. The student must be under the aegis of Rotary Clubs at each stopover unless the student staying with relatives. The student may not go on a trip with anyone who is not apporoved by the Rotary counselor and no trip is to be made without an adult. No travelling allowed during schooldays.

13 PROCEDURE TRIPS If you want to travel :
Make a request (maens of travel, hotel,…) Hand over this request to your YEO and talk about your plans. Gather all the permissions you need and send these to your club YEO Club YEO will give his advise and talk about it with chairman. YEP comité and club YEO will deliberate and considerate your request At least 14 days before your departure

- Bij ongeluk of hospitalisatie steeds dadelijk chairman Emi Helsen verwittigen. -Indien terugkomst van inbound gewenst is ( overlijden familielid, ziekte .. ) nooit op eigen houtje een retourticket bestellen.
